Grrrrr......

Well folks....I really don't want to admit the Murphy is back but....
my little Passport external hard drive has decided to become
obstinate and not play well with my laptop.
struggled with crashes and not being able to process photo's...
grrrrr...gave up last night
this morning I tackled it again by moving all photo's to my laptop hard drive
and then processing them...
rude discovery!
I had purposely gone to a deep water boat launch area that I went to last year,
while the boat for fishing was launched by a logging skidder
I noticed about 50 eagles feeding on the beach.
So back I went yesterday at tide going out to find eagles
darn...only one in the area I could get into as there were 8 skidders just
zipping in and out launching fishing boats.
I was checking the settings on the camera when a person
approached me asking questions....

welllll....all my shots are not clear and crisp as I obvisouly forgot to change them!
damn it. I will be going back tomorrow to hopefully see more eagle feeding
and set the camera correctly! dahhhhh

every day there are these crazy para-sailers wind surfing off Homer Spit beach
damn that water is cold

this eagle is a regular on this light pole daily on Homer Spit

the fishing hole area on Homer Spit attracts several seals a day
hunting for fish
the ferry Tustamina in Homer Spit
fish processing boat in harbor in Homer Spit
 the marina

every so often I am treated by seeing an old restored vehicle driving
on the roads
I just really really like this "chicken coop" style house..
would love to build one that is one story and long!
corrugated metal worked into the design for architectural
asthetics

one of the local coffee/bakery shops
"the Three Sisters"

as yes...this is where I went to photograph eagles feeding...
sigh ....

sorry the quality is so bad....
next time I will be sure to re-set the camera settings

this poor little feathered fellow flew into the apartment window
and was stunned for a good 10 min's...
surprised he didn't break his neck!

well I will try again for better eagle feeding shots tomorrow
gotta wait the the tide change so it might be the next day before
I can process and post photo's
