Had to take a break from working on the house and packing stuff so....

We are still packing stuff and moving it into the 24ft trailer we will haul to Alaska!
Am still going to have to move most everything back into the house when carpentry is finished and go thru it again!
Any how....
the fall crisp air has hit!
love the smell, crunch of the leaves underfoot as we walk up the road or on a trail.
Still struggling with this new camera and refused to carry my old faithful Nikon D80.
So here are some shots from yesterday.

From the top of our dirt road...a 60 mile view looking at Mt. Monadnock in N.H.

I've lived in this town 32 years and hubby just told me  that this rock has always been known as "a$$ crack rock"~!

yes that is a beaver an he's huge!!! as I do not know the camera and he was moving fast this is the result...I kinda like it..looks like a watercolor painting!
He did a major slap with his tail and dove making a big 'ol splash
which of course I didn't get...If I had my 'ol faithful Nikon I would have had the shot~

this morning,  we went out the breakfast at Elmer's Store, with great friends and I had to take some other photo's!

The Inn at Norton Hill in Ashfield MA ...yayyyyy the main street gets color thank you Nan! Displaced after Katrina Hurricane Nan came to Ashfield and has "shook" the town with Louisiana culture!!

The house across the street just looked sooo inviting! Typical New England porch!
